Unemployment Down

Employers added 200,000 jobs in December bringing the staggering unemployment rate down yet again. The jobs added ends the 2011 year with 1.6 million jobs added to our economy versus the bleak 940,000 in 2010 shrinking the unemployment rate from 9.1% to a new low of 8.5%, the lowest it’s been since 2009. Another great sign that the economy is turning around is young workers are being hired again. The unemployment rate now has fallen four consecutive months.
