UK Press Raves for Rita Live

Rita is getting rave reviews for her opening spot on Drake’s Club Paradise Tour and her own SOLD OUT gig at  Hoxton Bar and Kitchen. While Rita told her fans she was terrified doing the arena tour and was glad to see her fans or “Ritabots” faces the reviewers let the up and coming star know she will be huge and needs to get used to the bigger venues with one saying: “After a short break and in true Roc Nation style, Rita’s theme music plays and she takes to the stage looking FABULOUS in a silver and gold dress. Rita is electric. After introducing herself and confessing that last night’s show supporting Drake was the scariest thing she’s ever done (“Tonight is much better – I can see all of your faces!), she got started with Walk The Line. The previously unheard Linkin Park-esque track had the stunner jumping around the stage like the charismatic babe she is. Her recent US release, Party and Bullshit, was next up, which the group of teen fangirls at the front of the stage absolutely loved. “I wish I hadn’t worn this stupid dress!” Rita told us, laughing and pulling it down before throwing some of her new merch swag into the audience to a great response. “This is the most excited I’ve seen you all night!” she joked with the very East London crowd. A couple of tracks later she hit us with a great version of the banger that launched her career, DJ Fresh’s Hot Right Now, before ending on her current single ft Tinie Tempah, RIP. The ridiculously catchy tune was a no-brainer to end on and is still in our heads days later. At just 25 minutes long, the set was small but perfectly formed – brilliantly showcasing Miss Ora’s great vocals, bubbley personality and awesome collection of tracks. In true Roc Nation style, her exit was a performance in itself, as she strutted off stage to an epic RIP instrumental. Rita Ora is going to be huge.” Rita will be bringing her live act stateside as she will be performing April 25th at SOB’s in NYC and on April 26th at the Viper Room in LA.
